PAUL COMBS
'HAWK'S DELIGHT'
10-SONG CD

Hawk's Delight, Over The Rainbow, How Insensative, Beautiful Love, Barbara, I Love You, Someday My Prince Will Come, Long [Ago] (And Far Away), On The Trail, Sonnymoon For Two
Saxophonist Paul Combs has been playing in the Boston area for some time now. He is proficient on Baritone, alto and tenor sax and leads different incarnations of groups throughout a 12 year span on this jazz flavored album.

He covers the masters, Rollins, Gillespie, Gershwin, Porter and others with traditional reverence. His sunny, uptempo arrangements reflect tasteful playing while his backup companions display a flair for this style of jazz. The group even gets the chance to flex their muscles on the lone Combs composition, 'Hawk's Delight.'

Too many standouts on this disc won't allow me to pick favorites, so you'll just have to experience Paul Combs and friends yourself. It's an exuberant, traditional experience you won't want to miss.
