{"id":281,"date":"2018-10-03T01:27:25","date_gmt":"2018-10-03T05:27:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/paulcombs.com\/Studio\/?page_id=281"},"modified":"2018-10-03T02:00:38","modified_gmt":"2018-10-03T06:00:38","slug":"educational-programs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/paulcombs.com\/Studio\/educational-programs\/","title":{"rendered":"Educational Programs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paul Combs is currently offering a number of programs based on the research into the music of Tadd Dameron that led to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.press.umich.edu\/22963\/dameronia\"><em>Dameronia &#8211; the Life and Music of Tadd Dameron<\/em><\/a>, his biography of jazz musician Tadd Dameron, has been published by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.press.umich.edu\/titleDetailDesc.do?id=22963\">University of Michigan Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are three types of programs:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/paulcombs.com\/Studio\/educational-programs\/lectures\/\"><em>Lectures<\/em><\/a><\/span> &#8211; 1-2 hours, depending on available time and the opportunity for questions from the audience.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/paulcombs.com\/Studio\/educational-programs\/workshops\/\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Workshops<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/a> &#8211; 1:30 minimum, 2 hours preferable.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/paulcombs.com\/Studio\/educational-programs\/concerts\/\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>Concerts\/Residencies<\/em><\/span><\/a> &#8211; a week of rehearsals ending with a student ensemble concert;\u00a0 lectures and\/or workshops could be included.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paul Combs is currently offering a number of programs based on the research into the music of Tadd Dameron that led to Dameronia &#8211; the Life and Music of Tadd Dameron, his biography of jazz musician Tadd Dameron, has been published by University of Michigan Press.
