A while back I was interviewed for a web project created by the Cambridge Historical Society. I was informed by Gavin Kleespies, executive Director of the Society that the project is now finished, and you can both hear and read a transcript of segments of interviews with me and eleven other folks who have been seriously involved with music in Cambridge for a long time.
Two of my trumpet students, Clara Long and Ezra Rudel, are playing in the Kids Street Band. I went to check this group out last Sunday and found to my delight a wonderful inter-generational “honk” band. At the end of the rehearsal there was discussion of changing the bands name, but you and find out more about this here.
Students Jacob Bowker, saxophone, and Ryan Tellingator, clarinet, will be perfroming with the Cambridge All-City Band in a concert at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School, next Wednesday, April 11.
