Saturday 3/9 Traffic Alert

Please be advised of temporary traffic disruptions Sunday, Mar. 10, from 9:00-10:30 a.m., during the An Ras Mor Road Race. The race begins and ends on Sidney St. at Franklin and includes a portion of Mass. Ave. There will be rolling road closures along the route. Franklin St. will be closed from 9:40-10:10 a.m.

Paul Interviewed by Cambridge Historical Society

A while back I was interviewed for a web project created by the Cambridge Historical Society. I was informed by Gavin Kleespies, executive Director of the Society that the project is now finished, and you can both hear and read a transcript of segments of interviews with me and eleven other folks who have been seriously involved with music in Cambridge for a long time.

Kids Street Band

Two of my trumpet students, Clara Long and Ezra Rudel, are playing in the Kids Street Band. I went to check this group out last Sunday and found to my delight a wonderful inter-generational “honk” band. At the end of the rehearsal there was discussion of changing the bands name, but you and find out more about this here.

Cambridge All-City Band

Students Jacob Bowker, saxophone, and Ryan Tellingator, clarinet, will be perfroming with the Cambridge All-City Band in a concert at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School, next Wednesday, April 11.
